Please help us welcome the Diva Dollz & Company (DD&Co.) to the Positively Dressed Fashion Show on April 12th @ The Pennsylvania Convention Center, 1101 Arch St. Phila. Pa. 2pm-6pm!
The Diva Dollz & Company (DD&Co.) is a group of young, talented and energetic performers filling the void and need for clean, positive, music sensitive to young listening ears and impressionable minds.
Ranging between the ages of five to seventeen, both boys and girls, DD&Co released its first CD, “Work Hard… Play Harder,” April 2012. DD&Co has since released their second CD, "Donz & Divaz…Kid Tested-Parent Approved" June 2013. The third Cd entitled “#Do It Like A Pro” was released May 2014. Their 4th CD is set to be released May 2015.

Their music consists of age appropriate, soulful music
with positive messages and no explicit lyrics! Their music touches on many issues children face daily including bullying, chasing their dreams, loving yourself, choices, self motivation and esteem, faith, self respect, and even puppy love just to name a few.

The group prides itself on many things however, the fact that they touch on age appropriate topics is epic! Two of our members battle situations that not every child would typically go through in life but they have left an imprint with D.D& Co. Our member Trax is battling stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and Q-Dee battles a kidney disease, Nephrotic Syndrome These are issues they include in their lyrics as a way of helping others and also therapeutic to us all. These trials have not in any way prohibited our members from delivering amazing performances. Actually, it has taught them to remain positive, work through tough situations, and not to hide their situations because someone else may benefit from the experience. These kids are true examples of how entertainers can relate with the fan and still maintain professionalism.
Since the release of the first CD, “Work Hard…Play Harder”, DD&Co has secured 190 performances from New York to the Carolinas.
We've done our research, and there is NO other group out today fulfilling the void and need for this type entertainment the way DD&Co is doing it. The music feels good which gets you on the edge of your seat, but the Diva Dollz & Company’s disciplined performances, original neck moving music, interesting lyrics, fashionable style, excessive energy, and crowd interaction maintains your attention.
Our target population is kids ages 2-14. But we've found that parents and caregivers are even bigger fans. We're filling the void of good feeling soul filled music for the entire family to enjoy without the worries of inappropriate connotations or explicit lyrics. Yes, we're working with other talented young entertainers and well known organizations, but there are very limited options in regards to music for our young kids so we're doing it ourselves!
DD&Co has a signature line dance entitled the “Company Strut” that was choreographed by some talented dancers from Philadelphia. Not just for entertainment, but to encourage physical activity and interaction in an attempt to provide our children and families with a fun filled workout and interaction while being entertained. People are exercising and getting fit to our music and they don't even know it!
Diva Dollz & Company is determined to expose our youth to more than just entertainment at a party, but as a tool to help parents reinforce age appropriate entertainment at a time when radio stations are not playing music mindful of young listeners. The news is filled with so much negativity about our youth. This group is trying to effect change and dispel myths not only in our city, but the world, and prove that we have talented children who can lead and produce a product that reminds us that what we put into them is what we’ll get out of them.
